UPDATE: the auction ended yesterday. the winning bid was a womping $3.15 not including shipping and handling. i hope the "lucky winner" enjoys their crap.

glad to see it go up. everyone in my hometown/area are glad to see one of it's most famous residents go back. everyone here is cheering for eileen collins to have a safe trip.my college which she too graduated from had a little viewing party. i couldn't attend. i didn't wake up in time to get there. it's a really big deal. hope the return home goes as well as the launch.

i was saddened to hear about his passing. i was watching entertainment tonight and they did a really nice piece on his life. my condolences go out to his family and friends.

i don't think voyager was the weakest series. i do admit that it had it's weakness like every other tv show ever made including star trek. each series had it's strong points and it's weakness which people can agree or disagree on forever. so does it matter which series be it voyager or one of the others that is the weakest as long as we as fans watch all or a few of the series as long as we enjoy ourselves.

i'm not surprised. i have witnessed on more than one occasion a worker at a store ask the parent if it's okay for the kid to get the game and also tell them that they explained to them why it's that rating and the parent says yes. i have even seen a father and son laugh about the rating system. today i witnessed a worker sell a game to a kid that was obviously not a teen buying a t for teen rated game. i'm glad my parents follow the rating system. my brother and sister are only allowed certain ratings. if i want a game that's not allowed for my brother and sister, it's only allowed on my playstation 2. i wish more people were this way and enforced the ratings. it also relates to movies. parents don't always follow that one either but that's a different discussion for another day.

i don't judge someone by their screen name. i look at a screen name and i'm trying to figure out where it might be from. like star trek or something else. i also am curious sometimes about how they chose their screen name.
