  1. Hey! You forgot to add Michael Dorn ( Worf ) there!

Richard Dean Anderson is already on. Look up R's. The list is aphabetical by first name.

  2. In the beginning there was a group called the "soong sisters" but that "moved on" as well.

Yillara and Takara are still posting here.

There were two more...besides they don't mention the sister thing anymore

Yes, the other two were DSBS and Lessa. True, Yillara and Takara have not continued the Soong sister thing.

  3. Am I the only one who finds the locking of an entire forum without just cause a bit ridiculous?

I would publicially ask VaBeachguy to have a long talk with Mr "Alterego" about enacting Big Brother tactics like a dictator.  Nothing happened in Kronos to warrent the forum being locked...

Christians who use censorship tactics to limit freedom of discourse is exactly what happened to Galileo and now its happening here on a webpage in the early part of the 21st century and it isn't right.

By blocking debate of the topics at hand, Christians are simply confirming the worst suspicions the rest of us have about them.

AE gave a pretty good reason for locking Kronos. I suggested that he do this a few weeks ago. The locking of Kronos is not permanent. He just wants a break. I understand how he feels. Lately, the behavior in Kronos has been quite childish. The behavior has not fit the name in a while. To be honest. Kronos was getting boring. It was more like Fereginar.

  4. Hey, LOTB

Sorry that I did not get back to you sooner. I started here about a month after VBG created this forum. This was not his first forum. As I found out a few weeks into my membership. I found out about this place from the forums on startrek.com. I only lurked there. I never posted. To be honest. I lurked here a couple weeks before I finally joined. So I was reading threads on here from the beginning.

I have not posted a lot here. But have been a regular on the trivia. I probably had more contact with master q and spacetigger than I have had with the other mods. They both have done a superb job.

As for VBG, he has always tried to make this place the best Star Trek site around. AE is a good backup for him. As for the other mods, they are always around to keep the troll problem to a minimum. Also, have been a good support group.

As for the rest of the members, I have only made friends with one, Yillara Soong. We became friendly mainly because of my username. She is a big fan of Data. But eventually our friendship became more well rounded than our interest in Data.

I found other interesting people here, from all around the world. This is truly an international site. Which goes to show you how well Star Trek has been received everywhere.

  5. I usually copy down the image URL on a scrap of paper and type it into the appropriate box when selecting a new avatar in my controls here.

I rarely save images with "save picture as...",since for some reason those usually won't upload properly at many of the sites I post at.

It's too bad I couldn't have also added the music that went with my new avy.The dancing goes so much better, and is much funnier with Bootsy Collins playing in the background.

If it was an swf, you could have sound. Unfortunately, having sound in an avatar is not allowed becuase the sound from swf's screws up the threads. They do not sinc, if posted more than once on the thread.
