I really like ship based episodes best but enjoy the planet based episodes too. Oh heck I've just contradicted myself. I voted for ship, the ship is just brilliant. The episodes based on it were always really innovative with the holodeck and all the alien ships they encountered, not to mention all the weird anomalies it just made for great stories. <_<

The lion King is not my favorite Disney movie, it was ok  . I did like Whoopie Goldberg as the voice of the hyena though, she was funny. <_<

I know that it's not on the list but my favorite is The Green Berets. I have only seen Good Morning Vietnam from the list so will have to check some of the others out. One I have seen and thought was really good is We Were Soldiers. I'm not a great watcher of war films but I was glued to the screen from start to finish.

I really like all three, but not wanting to fence sit I chose Raiders Of The Lost Ark I must have only been 10 when I first saw it. I remember being scarred witless at the end, wow it was great I love things like that. I have watched it many times since and don't need a cushion over my eye's now but still think it's a great film, they all are! <_<

I used to really love Babylon five, the story lines and special effects were fab in my opinion it just got better with every season. I have seen all the follow up movies and really enjoyed them. I have never seen Crusade, I don't believe it has ever been broadcast over here but I may have just missed it not realising what it was. <_<

Now I am listening to Ludovico Einaudi-I Giorni. A really relaxing classical CD it's the second one of Einaudi's that I have got it's so restful I could fall asleep

This site cheers me up. Sometimes if I feel really down I don't post, just read what others have to say about my favorite subject (Star Trek). That in itself can help me to cheer up. As RC said I to have been to many sites but this is the only one I have kept coming back to, there is a real sense of community here and for a time I can forget my troubles.

In Stargate SG-1. The Make Trek Refrences Alot.In..."Prometheus" Or Maybe "Unnatural Selection", Col. O'Neill Wanted To Name Their New Ship The Enterprise
The references in Stargate SG-1 always make me laugh I loved it when Carter said of the prometheus "No sir we can't call it Enterprise". In a recent episode they were working on a weapon and Jack said "Is it like a phaser" the scientist replied "No sir it's more of a photon torpedo".

I really enjoy hearing references to Star Trek in other programs, films and books it just reinforces what a huge following Trek has that these writers can use references to it and most people "get it".

if 7 were captain
in Star Trek: Voyager
Posted
I like Seven, but agree with most here she did not have the leadership qualities to be a Captain. Who knows, maybe if on return to Earth she joined StarFleet I think after she settled in she would do really well and maybe one day make Captain. Seven still had a great deal to learn about herself and where she came from first. I don't think Voyager would have faired well in her hands.
