  1. Massive storm system rolled through the central valley today, downing powerlines and trees and causing limited local flooding. I spent most of the early afternoon clearing tree limbs and debris out of my yard and off my roof. Another storm is coming in at about 2 or 3 a.m., but my area is only going to catch the trailing edge of it (while L.A. and areas further south get hammered again). So I'm not too all fired concerned about it. The rain and thunder helps me sleep, anyway.

  2. I need to be a better parental/guardian figure for my sister and nephew. Take my responsabilities as such more seriously. And take better care of myself. I'm putting on too much weight and not exercising enough....

I suppose I just want to be a better (healthier) person, for myself and for those I care about.

  3. Reading posts here and listening to the local news

There's been an influenza outbreak here. In the past week more than 300 people (men, women, and children) have visited the emergency rooms of 5 hospitals (Kaiser, University, St. Agnes, Central California Community, and Central California Children's) in the city and tested positive for influenza. That's up from 115 this time last year.

  4. Granted it was low budget to begin with, but did they really make enough on that stinker to fund another movie?

    Oh yeah.

    They've made at least 4.

I haven't really gone to Troma Studio's website in a while, but they've turned out tons and tons of low-budget films like Toxic Avenger. To be honest, some of them are so low-budget they make Toxie's films look like Gone with The Wind. And they all make money. :)

  5. Black t-shirt , black jeans and cowboy boots (black).

Had on my black duster and stetson earlier. I went out to a Christmas parade tonight

Were you actually in the parade portraying Wyatt Earp or something?

    Nope.

There was going to be a lot of senoritas at the parade. Latin women love cowboys.

Besides, that's what I call gettin' dressed up formal like. :)
