  1. now, your talking about the mirror universe kira, or the kira who can't said three simple words to odo? lol

Both aren't fit to lick Leia's feet, but I like Intendant Kira much better than Major Kira.

  2. K'Ehleyr absolutely. A great strong female character that would have been wonderful to see in more episodes, played by the charming Suzie Plakson, who's a great convention guest (who was also very good in her portrayal of Dr. Selar).

I agree about Suzie rocking as both K'Ehleyr and Dr. Selar, trekz...wasn't really feeling her as the She-Q, though (nothing on Suzie's acting, just hated the character).

  3. Five here...I LOVE Marta Dubois in the role of Ardra...not to mention I love the story concept of an entire planet selling their souls to "The Devil", so to speak.

  4. The EMH is the better character.

Seven Of Nine was a walking pair of breasts. Even Jeri Ryan knew why she was added to the show.

They tried it a second time for the insipid "T'Pol" only this time, it didn't work.

I'm with you, LB...though I truly feel bad for Jeri Ryan that her acting talent was wasted on foam-padded catsuits and pointless storylines. Half of the fans (generally the male half) was like "Huh huh huh...breasts.", while the other half couldn't stand Seven because she served absolutely no purpose outside of being 'the hot chick'.

And youbroughtheryouRiker, I think the difference between characters like Seven and characters like Yeoman Rand is that virtually every single episode for four seasons didn't focus on Yeoman Rand.

  5. I gave this one a five...I always loved K'Ehleyr and Worf together, and although it's heartbreaking to watch how her death affects both him and Alexander, I love that it ultimately leads the two to bond through her death.

Plus, I love Gowron and his unblinking awesomeness.

  6. I gave it a four...I always love Q episodes, but this didn't focus enough on Q and focused too much on--*gags*--Picard and Vash for my liking.

  7. I would have swallowed my pride and moved to a different planet.

I'm with you...seriously, what did these people expect when the Borg moved in LITERALLY next door?

I don't get the "This is my planet, and I'm not leaving!" mentality in the Trekverse. Those people Data tried to keep from being destroyed by the Sheliak, Icheb's race, the Maquis...come on, people! JUST EFFING MOVE!!!

This episode gets a four from me, if for no other reason I like Icheb, and I like the way Seven shows how much she cares about him.

  8. I gave it a four...I love the Doctor's opera, and I always get very caught up in episodes that deal with the Doctor's basic rights to humanity. Not to mention the Doctor's "rock star" scenes were incredibly amusing to me. :)

I hated that he put his neck on the line for this stupid species, though...they were so ANNOYING!!!

  9. Four...I really liked this epi.

Michael was a very charismatic character, and I love that this episode lets us see some more of Janeway's romantic feelings, which are normally very locked away and reserved.

It's also a very cool life lesson at the end: you can't change someone to make them perfect, because part of learning to love someone is loving all of them, even their faults.

^ Leave it to my darling doctor to point that one out. :)

  10. I love that we finally see some Tuvok/Neelix friendship in this one! I thought it was very sweet that Neelix convinces Tuvok to do the surgery, even though he knows it means Tuvok will go back to being cold, cynical Tuvok again. Five from me!

Yay for Neelix and Mr. Vulcan! :)
