Klingons would own Hirogen, no question.

One thing I hate about getting older (not that 35 is old) is that I can't eat as much as I could when I was in my teens and 20's.As a teen it was normal for me to go to McDonalds and get 5 quarter pounders with cheese, a filet of fish, a large fry and a large coke and I'd eat it all in one setting. Or I might get 2 large Pizza's from Pizza Hut and eat almost all of both. Now I'm lucky to finish 1 double quarter pounder with cheese and if I eat half of 1 Pizza I'm stuffed.
Five QPs w/cheese? Daaaaaaang, President Kevs...
One thing I hate about getting older is kinda in that vein...I can't drink as much as I used to.

If you liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory please don't be offended. But in my opinion it sucked. Depp was wrong for the role and they made the movie too "dark".Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was a light and fun movie. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was not.
Far be it from me to disagree with President Kevs (), but the boat ride in WW&TCF was darker and more terrifying than anything in C&TCF.
If they really wanted to get an actor who was the closest to the book's interpretation of Willy Wonka though, they should've totally gotten Martin Short.

The Klingons would totally own the Cardassians, period.
The TNG-era Cardassians were actually kind of awesome, but the TNG-era Klingons still would've slaughtered them outright till Lakarian City dripped with their blood.
And DS-9-era Klingons vs. DS-9-era Cardassians? Well, I believe General Martok summed it up best:
"Let me remind you that these are Cardassians we're standing on!"

Ah, the Quark/Ziyal dynamic was one that I always loved...they were only in a few scenes alone together, but I still loved them so much.
Not to mention they must be the first people in Star Trek history to save people's lives with a hasperat souffle.

Not a frickin' chance.
Janeway breaks the Prime Directive at least once an episode, but Chakotay's so stupid I don't see how he can keep from drooling on himself.
I seem to remember him having command of a Maquis ship, where he had on board:
Seska - A Cardassian posing as a Bajoran
Tuvok - A Star Fleet officer posing as a Maquis
B'Elanna - A Klingon with self-esteem/daddy issues
Suder- A schzoid Betazoid who would literally kill you for looking at him wrong
Yeah... as I said before, Janeway's emotional and only follows Star Fleet orders when she feels like it, but Chakotay's seriously an idiot. A supremely hot idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.

I don't think it would work.
IMO, the series itself was poor, the characters (for the most part) were weak and I just don't think there would be wide-enough appeal or demand.
What you said.

trekkiness: 114
The Trekkie Test
ranks me as a(n) Commander
What does it mean?
You know Trek, and you love it. You may not dress up in uniform every day, but you're dedicated to your series, or two, and happy with being entertained by it.

And I almost forgot:
Maureen O'Hara (a.k.a. Fire-Haired Femme):

I'm a sucker for old movies, musicals in particular.
I love to watch AMC and TMC at my parents' house, and every time I get all dreamy-eyed when "Singing In The Rain" or "That Touch Of Mink" comes on.
sigh... :blush 2:
