I was wondering the same thing, VBG. For example, I like to mock the early 90s hair, but it doesn't necessarily detract from the plot for me (unless it's Tasha, but that's all on her own merits and only due in small part to her Corey Haim in The Lost Boys-esque haircut).

Spock and the plot win this one a four from me...however, Commander Sela ruined yet another epi for me.

I truly just feel like Denise Crosby is playing Tasha Yar while wearing Vulcan ears...she's not a very convincing Romulan.

I give it a five...Sarek and Picard's interactions alone broke my heart in this epi.

Five from me...I liked not having to hear the Bajorans whine about the Prophets after watching them for so long on DS-9.

Also, I love love LOVE Michelle Forbes as Ro Laren...it breaks my heart that we could've watched seven seasons of her instead of Major Kira, but she turned down the role.

Well unless it's different in Britain, or unless her boyfriend is blind, if she's a "dog" then she ought to understand why she's not allowed on the bus.

It's no wonder they got caught...the children had large, merchandise-shaped bulges under their shirts.

I felt like Spock's resurrection made sense; they put his genetic material on the Genesis planet, where anything was possible from a rebirth standpoint.

Kirk's resurrection for this movie would not make sense (especially if Nimoy's Spock is supposed to be in mourning for Kirk)...but then, bringing him back in Generations didn't make any sense to start with, to say nothing of that LAME death!

I don't see why a lot of people are blaming Abrams for Shatner not being in the movie...it's not his fault they killed Kirk in Generations.
