  1. Goodness gracious! What a lot of twisted overtinking! I see some people here have all the answers as usual. I personally dont care how this episode will fit into the continuity and see it as a cheap attempt to try to win ratings. If the Borg Queen pops up again with fingernails at the ready I swear! Enterprise is finished for me. This isnt new. This isnt exciting. This is just taking a left over from a brilliant movie and evolving a whole episode out of it. Berman is breaking the rules and is relying on old stuff too much. Ok. It'll be interesting to see the Borg up against the Enterprise crew but that is all it will be. Not clever. Not inventive. Just cheap. After this, I dont want to see them again. :o

We won't see the Borg again, it was a one shot deal, having the Borg on that way was the only way that made sense.

  2. That was a great episode.  Absolutely no breach in the time line.

That was so cool watching the transfirmation of the different individuals to becoming Borg.  It will be interesting to see how this affects Phlox in the future.  The references to Zephram Cochrane I didn't find to be cheesy and it tied in nicely at the end when Archer and T'Pol were talking about how long it would take that message to reach the Delta Quadrant.  I agree it was really interesting to the reference to the Bynars.

I guess your right in the long run, ENT tying itself into the whole Trek landscape the part about the speech did fit, I take the cheesy bit back.

  3. Wow!!!

Great episode. Well written. Now the details, First the things that bothered me, one considering that Trip had his run in with the Vissians he seemed to be in a good mood. The part about Cochrane's speech seemed a little cheesey. Now the good parts, the way they did it really seemed to fit, didn't seem like a gimick to improve ratings at all. When Archer decided to posty a guard in sickbay he seemed pretty decisive, and was the Captain he needed to be through out the Episode, I really think Archer is "getting" it. Phlox mentioned the Bynars from TNG that was cool. I thought the "red shirt" security guard in sickbay was going to die but he was merely knocked out. I really think the transporter will start being used more, the ""let's use the Shuttle All and all I think I have a new favourite episode. Everything about it was cool. It wasa one trime thing and they did a damn good job of it. Could it be? Is ENT now becoming the best Trek ever? Nice little bit there at the end about the 24th Century :(

  4. I'm not to familar with Jenas, I tend to keep an eye on the German up-and-comers more. But I will say that England has some very good/excellent young players and are really set for the next World Cup, though I do think that Euro 2004 will catch them in a transitional period, and may not do so well, nor do I think my Germans will. Given the current state of the youth of the Countries i follow I think England has the best, Germany is going about it all wrong, the Dutch will be great by then, and I think the Austrians may surprise alot of people.

As far as Jenas being the next Beckham, only time will tell, that's some pretty big shoes to fill, Owen made his name on the world stage, he might too.

  5. I've seen it before, and saw part of it again this morning.  I was in Gettysburg last Sept.  I can understand your problem!

On another tack, I work in a tourist town, but nothing like yours.  You must be overrun most of the time, but especially in July!

You have no idea, I live a block from the square, if I don't get out of town early, before 9am, on the weekends I ain't going nowhere :(.

  6. Has anyone ever seen this on the History Channel, every time they show it I get the creeps because that's where I live. Every thing they show is right around my house, or I know right where they're at. Not to mention every summer someone comes up here to film some show, drives me nuts. Last thing I need is to watch a show on ghosts then look out my window and see the same building they're talking about on TV. No wonder I can't sleep at night. :(

  7. I just had a thought, I think they should have used the scene from First Contact where the sphere gets destroyed by the Enterprise-E for the teaser, to just bridge that gap then cut to the scientists discovering them, but I guess they decided not to do that.

  8. I voted no, 1. he has retired from acting, but other than that there really wasn't a place for him in the movie, unless they wanted him in just becausethe last time we saw him was with the unification group on Romulas, but that would have been well off the plot line of Nemesis. Though I do agree there needs to be some closer with the Spock character, that closer coming wouldn't have made sense to me.

  9. BECKS WANTS TO STAY!!

    Becks stays!

David Beckham says that he has no intention of leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Newspapers have been full of rumours claiming he was on the verge of a £38 million switch to Real Madrid, but Becks has spoken out to deny the reports for the first time.

"I want to stay at United," David told the Manchester Evening News on Tuesday.

"There's been lots of stuff in the media about me and my future, but I can honestly say that there has been no contact between either me or my adviser, with Real Madrid, or any other club.

"My feelings for Manchester United, the club itself, the players, the fans and the back room staff, are as strong as ever.

"I know Peter Kenyon and the manager Sir Alex are saying they want me to stay, and that's good enough for me. My affection for the club has never changed from the day I signed for United."

Becks has also declared that the team's Premiership achievement is only now beginning to sink in with the lads.

"The whole team is buzzing. I think we're all still on a high because the scale of our achievement is only now sinking in. People had written us off at Christmas and that makes our success ever sweeter this time," he said.

"I think for all of us it has been a very tough battle because we've had to be so focused on our aim to win the league by winning every game, and not to worry or get distracted by the opposition.

"It's been an amazing season for the club and I have never known the team spirit to be as good as it is today. The supporters have been fantastic as always, and it's great to reward them with the title."
