I also spotted Jeri Ryan on the movie Down With Love

I think I might have seen the guys who play Garak and Odo on Will and Grace. I'm not sure - it's hard to tell with their makeup off.

I've seen several comments by people that lost jobs last year.  So I'm curious just how many of us had that experience.

I guess that it's not just that we've run out of things to say. We're a community, and not just a Star Trek community. We talk about other things that interest us and give advice about daily life.

The grays from Zeta-Reticuli will introduce themselves to the entire world :lol:

It is said that this quatrain is about WWIII. Sounds like the use of biological and chemical weapons. What do you think the double of all evils means?

I went to a couple of websites and tried to get a little background on Nostrodamus - I had heard of him but never really read any of his writings. One critique - which I can see in this quatrain is that they are vague and can be applied to more than one event by concentrating on certain lines. If I had simply read this quatrain without your introduction that it was about WWIII I am not sure WWIII would have come to mind.

 

To me it could also be interpreted that a economic downturn is brought about by a natural disaster. In his time period - famine, plague etc would be likely outcomes of a natural disaster like an earthquake or meteor etc. (they still are today) Three brothers could be a metaphor for mountains, volcanoes, stars etc. Double all evil could simply be a quantitative term meaning "really bad"

 

I won't say it is impossible that Nostrodamus had visions - there are many unexplained events in the world. I guess the main issue I have is they aren't specific enough to give any real warning.

Of course I understand what you mean - I'm still trying to work out what to think. But assuming that Nostradamus' prophecies were correct, it still means that something bad is going to happen.

The reason they aren't very specific is because he wrote the quatrains in a very god-fearing time. He believed that he would have been killed for such controversial stuff. It's a pity, though.

What would be nice is if he stole the "returning to life after Christmas" part of Christmas.

I get ghost needle feelings as well. Sometimes an injection can hurt for a few months on and off before the feeling finally goes away.

I can honestly say that I never noticed any references. They have many other unusual holidays though.

I'd have to say that he would make a good grinch.  Imagine how fast he could steal christmas.  As fast as a finger snap I'd say!

In fact, he could even steal Christmas repeatedly in different timelines and in different galaxies for all eternity. Or even erase people's memory of Christmas

I don't want fan tributes I want EPISODES! There'rl be more you'll see.

Or maybe once they stop, a dedicated fan might buy the star trek license and start making really crummy low budget episodes. The thought gives me shivers!
