    I saw something weird up in the sky a few days ago (but NO it wasn't a ufo)

    There was a police helicopter, a small plane, and a bomber aircraft all in one field of view

    That scared me so much because that really isn't normal. And it looked like the bomber might have been flying above the copper chopper.

    Yes it does suck and here is more..

    Pardon the rant but I have about had it with the education system

     

    1. In Ca. we had the Ca. Lottery shoved down or throats on promises of how much the schools would benefit from revenue gathered from the sale of every ticket, meanwhile the news is filled with stories of budget cuts.

     

    2. They send projects home, which, as so far beyond the motor skills of my child all she can do is stand and watch as I do them.

     

    3. At the bus stops I witness kids already on the bus jumping around like savages, if I ask the driver if, for the safety of my daughter he could try to better control the group, I later get a phone call from the principal of the school telling me I must not voice my concerns or pick on the driver.

     

    Where has sanity gone?

    Yeah that does suck but i've never had any experience with it cos i go to a private school. Also I don't take the bus but I know that with any school (private or not) around our area, the kids behave a lot better than you describe.

    But I can relate to your second point, because I do remember when I was a lot younger, my parents always did my work for me. I wasn't able to understand any of it.

    I have HEAPS of tests at my school :) I have no idea why, though. AND heaps of assignments too. I just finished a SOSE one on the renaissance which i got an A for B) YIPPEE! And on Wednesday I'm handing in a music assignment which took me a whole 15 hours to complete :bow: how much does that suck!

    Gals :angry: , are insulted far too easily, when you go through our mersey tunnel to liverpool, the sign on the pay both, used to say manned, now it says staffed, men = manned, women = womanned, what do you want!!!

     

    They are just getting annoyin now, women are getting more rights than men these days, equality my @$$ :P

    THAT'S NOT NICE :laugh: 'gals' aren't insulted too easily. Most women probably don't care about political correctness, and its not like we get in a huff about it.

    As for 'women getting more rights than men :martok:

    I have a friend who's going to buy a computer and I'm encouraging her to buy a PC, but her dad says she should get a laptop. She doesn't really know what to do, having advice from two sides. I personally think PCs are better, though, because they're a lot faster. And you can use them for more/better games.

    i have heard heaps of credible ufo stories

    example - the one with betty and barney something-or-other

    after their abduction, they were hypnotized (which forced them to give correct information) and then Betty gave heaps of information PLUS drew an accurate star chart of a star system somewhere. Make your own decision

    on alien planets (by that i mean :laugh::innocent: ) do they have different languages in different areas? because on earth we have, what, 200 or so different languages (its just a guess, probably wrong) so why dont other planets seem to have more than one language?
