Well essentially you just find an employer willing to take you, then spend a week with them, either doing odd jobs or observing the workplace. You get paid for it, but just a very minimal amount (something like $5 a day ).

I'm doing yr 10 work experience - do you do that in the US? i would assume you do, but I dunno. Nintendo is a bit different here though, because none of the game creation is done in Australia. It's just distribution, but exciting nonetheless

I'll be doing my work experience at Nintendo!! I'm very lucky to have gotten it, because normally you need to sign up years in advance. Even employees can't get their kids positions! It's in April, so I'll update then and tell you all how it went.

:biggrin: That sure is a lot of games! I just counted them and have a little over 20 on gamecube, and im guessing about 20 on gameboy. I haven't dragged out my SNES in yonks, but I have quite a few games on that too. What's Viewtiful Joe like, cos I hear people talking about it and saying it's great. But to me, it seems a little bland.

cube is cheaper then the PS2 or X-box.

I'm not sure about in your country, but in Australia, games cost as little as $40 (pre-owned). I even saw one for $10 (but that was a once-off )

You guys should check out 1080 Avalanche for multi-player fun (Gamecube).  It's a snowboarding game and it is a scream!  I'll put my 5-year-old son up against anybody on it ... he'll clean your clock.

Erk - I hate that game! I rented it a few times and it was a shocker! It's fun while you're unlocking stuff, but after that all the appeal's gone

Well I'm glad to hear that. In Australia, Gamcube isn't really that popular (although that does mean that the games are fairly cheap) I have about 25 or so games, and most of them are party games - great to play with friends. I'm also getting Donkey Konga for Christmas :angry: SO EXCITED!!!
