If you want, I can crop and enhance sea trooper's pic.

^It's still a good idea to have them. Our Spybot S&D got out of date, and in about 2 or 3 months (I lost track) we got 82 bugs. None of our other programs caught/prevented them (Firefox, AVG, AdAware, Spyware Blaster)
Were they cookies? If so, they pose a threat only to insecure browsers.
Also, if you had major spyware before, it's likely there will be traces of it left even after it has been removed; sometimes such traces are picked up later, but are not really a sign of having any spyware.
Also. there is the possibility you got spyware and it was never properly removed, and thus was still running, just undetected.
With a clean window install, having only ever used firefox, I have never had any spyware detections.
-
You don't need a spyware remover if you use a secure borwser.
But you can try spybot S&D.
Since I have used firefox I have not gotten any spyware what-so-ever.

Before you do that, do this:
Make sure all connections inside the computer are good. If you are not sure, disconnect it and reconnect it. The same thing happened with my brand new computer; the video card was loose.
If you have any AGP or PCI-e cards, take them out and try to start the computer.
Try to boot to a bootable CD. You may want to try knoppix (http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html), as it does not even use the hard drive.

I use bittorrent and filetopia. Between them I can find everything I need.
If you want any info on them you can PM me.
Fakes are not a problem in ether.

Or hold the power button in until it goes off (if that does not work there is something major worng).

I really didn't like it at all. As the ending, there was a lot more potential then what was used. It really rather sucked an ending.
They SOULD HAVE done this:
Have the last 3 shows about the federation; the first the signing that was in TATV (and SHOW the signing, don't end it just before it! That was so lame that we never got to see it!), then the founding of the federation, then Archer being appointed as president of the federation.
THAT would be an ending.

Why not just not put it in hibernation?

I'll make one if I remember. That's a big if.

Wait, the middle guy isn't Goku?

Pay-to-play MMOGs are not my thing. I find them to be a big rip-off. So I don't really care about them making the game, so only bad can come of it for me (for example, I wanted to make a Star Trek MMOG for a time, this game would take away from it and probably piss off the company and get me shut down).
-
This is a GOOD thing. Paramount didn't want to (or were unable to) make a high quality Star Trek ANYTHING anymore, so maybe this change can end up helping it.
I mean, you can't get worse then there being no more Star Trek at all (like after ENT), so this is ether good or indifferent.
As for the site, no one ever really uses Startrek.com, so it being gone would be little loss, since there are so many privet sites about the same thing, that tend to even do it better.

You should not use frames, even though they are supported by all modern browsers, they can be incredibly annoying.
Use full-page tables, they are a bit harder to make, but look much more professional and are not as annoying.

To have a reason to fight in space we would need to live on more then one planet. Otherwise it’s dumb and a waste of materials.

I like the graphics in this new version:The graphics are better then the old Civs, but people have had a lot of problems with them. If you have a GeFroce or ATI Radeon Pro [anything resent] you should not have any problems. There is also a patch coming out soon.
That would be cool, maybe even find an old series to add in like Buck Rogers or something even older.I may add things like ships from a wider set of shows then I do for Civs (I plan to only have Star Trek, Star Wars and Star Gate Civs; but I may have ships and such from other sci-fi).
-
If I had a choice it would be being chased by about 20 topless women over a clif.
LOL
Come to think of it - I agree.
My only question: why run?
-
I was thinking about something.. What if, instead of only Star Trek, I made the mod an “all sci-fi” mod? I could incorporate Star Wars, Star Gate, maybe even Farscape, all into one mod.
Of course, it would still be governed by Star Trek physics, as I think ST physics are the most well-developed and practical. Basically what that means is, Star Wars ships will not beat out ST ships just because SW ships are more powerful in their own universe then ST ships are in their‘s. Also things like expansion and such will be made to conform to ST standards.

I only eat; and for good reason!

Are you saying schools shouldn't have the right to do business with whomever they wish? No.
Democracy isn't even at issue here.My point exactly.
My old high school temporarily banned eating anything outside of the cafeteria because the students would litter the halls with their wrappers. It’s one thing to not allow food in some parts of the school at all, it’s a different thing to tell you what food you can and can not eat. It’s not like school is optional in most places.
The fascists!!Nice to know you finally see the light! (J/K)
Same here, except, I prefer root beer.I also like root beer.

I lived there, “60 Percent Contained” means “run for your lives!”.

My county just banned soft drinks in schools. We're gonna get milk machines now. They also are gonna stop selling candy and 'bad' chips in the vending machines.
*sigh*
More freedom in the democracies, I see.
New York University wants to stop selling Coca-Cola products on campus in protest of the soft drink company's labor policies in Colombia.I don’t really care as:
1. I don’t plan on going to New York University,
2. No one is forced to go to New York University (well… ok, maybe some people maybe forced to in some way, but it's still 'up to them' in a way),
3. I like Dr. Pepper.

Sounds quite cool, I went to the Civ4 website and the game looks like it will be great.
I think it's much better then the past Civs... it's much faster. The old civs took SO long to play and had such big parts that were boring, Civ4 is more exciting and fast.
A lot of the game play annoyances have been fixed too, like the “first turns expansion race” that made early game play unfun…
-
I haven't gotten Civ 4 yet but is this a new feature, the ability to make your own race?
You can do it quite easy via modding (all you need is the ability to edit XML if you don’t care what leader image it shows - if you do, you will need Photoshop and exporting tools, and with what’s out there now it can’t be an animated leader head like the ones that come with the game) or if all you care about is the name, you can change a Civ’s name right before entering the game.

Here is an image of the basic pre-TOS era tech tree so far. There’s still I lot I need to do before this is even done.

There are some thing that only a disk format will fix. I would recommend reinstalling windows at least every year under heavy use, as the registry will become full of junk and windows files will become corrupted; resulting in the computer running slower, crashing and maybe even take a major dive.
Windows is NOT a stable, secure or easy to fix OS.
