Riker has more free time now because he only goes on an a mission once every couple of years.   

He's getting older and the babes aren't dropping at his feet anymore so he might as well get married. If I had been Deanna and he proposed to me I would have had a great laugh.

I wasn't sure if I should put this on TNG or movies, so I'm just putting it here.

Now I don't mean to bad mouth Riker, I love him to death, but why did Deanna marry him?? I don't get it. I think it would have been wonderful if they had done it in the first few years of the series. That would've been great! But think about it. He already chose his career over her once. Then it takes him 15 years to decide he wants to marry her?? Did it ever occur to her that this guy might have just a tiny problem with commitment?

I voted for Archer.  This is because he is using an untested vessel, and going into untested waters.  He does not have the privelege of Starfleet Regulations to give him direction in handling new situations, and therefore must procede based off his own best judgement.  Also, he is the captain that behaves the most like the explorer that is the premise of the Starfleet mission.

I voted for Picard.  If I were in Starfleet I would have no hesitation to put my life in his hands.

ITA with that. I'd trust Picard the most. It's very close for me between him and Janeway.

I don't condone homosexuallity myself, however it's none of my business what two consenting adults do in private. I just don't see any reason to bring up a person's sexual preference. If it came up in an episode, fine. Just skip the details.

Ktrek about your advice for saving the gif, what if you do not have your own website to save them to, The best I could do was try to save one into "My Pictures" but then linking to there to post the gif was not allowed.

We also learned in In Theory that the ship doesn't pick up clothes for you.  Remember Data cleaning up Jenna's clothes and offering to organize her closet.

I've always wondered what happened with dishes.  None of the crew quarters we saw seemed to have any area for to store dishes and cutlery and everytime they replicated food it came on a dish.  What happened to them.  Did they get thrown into some time of matter recycler.

I always just guessed they put it back on the replicator and it recycled it. Or something like that.

Okay, what about the self cleaning ship? How does a starship clean itself? And are these people really soooo busy they can't clean their own quarters? They don't have to cook or anything.
