even if being gay is considered wrong for you, you should not hate the person. But i do not think anyone had really said they did.

Oh heck no! I don't think being gay is right, but I have 3 gay friends and a gay MIL. I love them all dearly! They don't all think being Christian is right, but it's ok. I do my thing, they do theirs and it's all cool. We love each other regardless.

No, im sorry. It didnt come out the way i meant. What i meant was, people who just blatently followed the Bible and didn't put much thought into deciding themselves whether or not something is right or wrong in their own mind. I dont like people who say something is wrong just because the Bible says so. There should be a better reason than that. The Bible isnt the be all and end all. And Macs are better than Microsoft (just to go all out!) :blink:

Okay, I get what you're saying. Sorry. I totally agree with that. You have to test everything out for yourself to see if it's true. The Bible can be interpreted (spl?) so many ways anyway. If God wanted blind faith he wouldn't have given us free will.

What I guess I am saying is how can you commit to a life with someone else until you are sure where your life is going?  Is it really fair to ask someone to go on the journey before you have a good idea of where it is going?

Is anyone ever totally sure where their life is going? It changes every day. People change every day, young and old. I hope I never know exactly where my life is going. It would take all the fun away. I married young (19) and we've enjoyed learning and growing together.

BTW, I do get your point, and I agree that Will was probably not ready, I'm just bring out another point of view. :blink:

Maybe they should just slow down. They keep coming out with one series after another and frankly it's hard to keep up. A break in between would be nice.

I think they're over doing it honestly. Star Trek will last forever. I mean look at how many young people still watch TOS. They're doing too much. So yes, I think it's time to end it. Or at least no more series.

i voted kirk....hes...human...and i think he had the best relationship/being in tune with his crew, even the little guys...and he knew his weaknesses and strengths i think, and knew that without mccoy or spock, he wouldnt be where he was....

I didn't like Kirk as much as a captain, but boy was he cute! Kirk, Riker and Bashir are the 3 hottest guys to ever grace Star Trek.
