Just so you know, whips and chains are not a deterent for some of us...

  2. Click For Spoiler
A cockroach can live nine days without its head before it starves to death.

From what I understood, it was 14 days. Ew.

Percentage of Africa that is wilderness: 28% Percentage of North America that is wilderness: 38%

Not surprising, considering that North America (which is not only the US, but also Canada and Greenland) is pretty darn huge compared to Africa.

Charlie Brown's dad was a barber.

A bad one, judging from good ol' Charlie's haircut!  :yahoo:

The Declaration of Independence was written on hemp (marijuana) paper.

Not to mention that both George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were hemp farmers. Also, the original 13-star US flag was made of hemp.

On average, every chocolate bar contains at least three insect legs.

    And THC!

  3. I eat hotdogs maybe two or three times a year, so I have no preference. When I did eat them a lot, I had them with chili, nacho cheese, relish, mayo, jalapenos, onions, and hot sauce.

When I eat a hamburger, it's usually just an Ultimate Cheeseburger from Jack in the Box. If I have it at home, I have it with lettuce, pickles, mayo, ketchup, onions, and hot sauce.

  4. Is this an actual game, or do you just have your pop-up blocker on, and are trying to mess with our minds?

OR WAS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK AND TWISTED APRIL FOOLS JOKE? HUH??!?!?!

    :dude:

It's an actual game, but I thought it was good for April 1st.

  5. better graphics by the time TNG was on

    317203

There was only a couple year's difference. Also, the ST III creature looked much better than the TNG 'boar.'

I think it was just a different type of animal. I mean, humans have dogs, cats, birds, all sorts of things. Why can't other species?

  6. Did you have the TV on while you were sleeping? The other day I had a dream about there being something wrong with the warp core. I woke up to an episode of TNG. I was dreaming my own version with the epsiode dialogue.

  7. Need I say more?

    Burger King 911

Well, now I know not to go to Burger King in Laguna Niguel, which just so happens to be where I work. (Laguna Niguel, not Burger King.)

Another example of how self obsessed American's are.

This woman actually thinks her food order is an emergency?  :o

    How self obsessed is that?

That's the kind of person I'd like to slap across the face and scream "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!"

    315734

Yeah. Like I said, stupid. I'm ashamed to live within 50 mile of this person...

  8. God willing, my girl and I will grow old an die together. What I'd like is for whichever one of us dies first to be preserved until the other of us dies. Then, together, I'd like for us to be placed on a floating funeral pyre, set ablaze, and launched into the ocean toward the sunset.

I guess that would be 'cremated and spread on the water,' but I clicked 'other.'

  9. I personally don't know what to say. I'm not Christian at all, so his death doesn't affect me in a religious way. But I do have great respect for him. I mean, the fact that, despite his illness, he still got up, put his Pope clothes (I'm not sure what they're called, vestments I guess) on, and went out to greet the faithful in itself demands respect. If I was that sick, I don't know that I could even consider it.

It's a sad, sad thing to lose a man so great.

What was the line from The Wrath of Kahn?

"It is a far far better thing I do than I have ever done before... a far better resting place I go to than I have ever known..."
