Stellar Cartography! or at a science station or on the bridge but not in command or on tactical. Mind you any job on the Enterprise would be a bonus!

Not really the saddest thing said but the most surprising...
My sister, her husband and I had spent most of a Saturday watching a Star Trek Marathon on our local cable station when the next door neighbour's son came into the lounge room and said, "Oh no! Not another lot of Trekheads!"
When we questioned him further, he listed 6 other people, all in the same street in a small country town mind you, spending their Saturday glued to Star Trek..... if only everyone would be less shy about being a fan because we could have held a party and enjoyed the Marathon together... Oh well!

The first time I saw the movie I was completely depressed. I didn't seem to get it, or ENJOY it! Which is really disappointing because I had been waiting for its release for many months.
I decided to give the movie another go and loved it. THE REASON - I had the whole cinema to myself- no chip packets opening, heads in the way and the film didn't crackle and pop all of the time.
By the way, I try to see each movie twice.

Masks, Offspring, Sub Rosa, The Host, Where Silence Has Lease, Time's Arrow, Phantasms, and the episode with Riker acting in a play and slipping into madness - What's it called? I could keep going....

Yes. Enjoyed the character very much. Enjoyed watching the relationship develop between Garrick, Odo and Bashir. Loved DS9 because it added a whole new slant to the Star Trek Universe. -
Glad to hear some else say they like all or most of the Star Trek versions. I'm just glad that Star Trek has continued throughout all of these years and I hope it has many more creative years ahead.
For me it gives me a feel good feeling every week and it doesn't matter which version I see.
