  1. He's also in some of the videos they show while you're waiting in line. I'm much more of a Spock fan so most of the stuff I looked at was from the original series. No matter what kind of fan you are though it's totally worth going and doing. The actually attractions themselves were patterened after DS9 and TNG.

  2. I think my personality is most like Spock's. I've taken Star Trek personality tests and they all say either Spock or Captain Picard. I'm pretty reserved with my emotions and I don't usually admitt to being tired or needing sleep. I like to analyze things and think things through. While I can be social I'm not a party person I don't talk a lot to people I don't know well. Like Spock I also play an instrument. I'm extremely loyal to those closest to me and I'm honest. I also get emabarrassed easily by certain subjects.

  3. Most interesting. I don't believe that it would come as a surprise if I said a Vulcan. I wouldn't mind being like Spock, half human and half Vulcan. Vulcans are physically stronger, don't need as much sleep, have excellent eyesight and hearing, and are pretty smart. They also live a long time so I could see more technological advances. I agree with mjham though not in an arrogant way.

  4. When you first go in there is a huge timeline of events starting with TOS and going all the way to Enterprise. Data is mentioned in that and they have videos playing throughout the whole area with the different scenes from different series and movies. All of the casts are represented.

  5. Definitely one of the best episodes with a good moral story to it as well. As a history teacher I find it very interesting how everything and everyone has it's place and time and each of us as a specific reason for living in the time that we live in. I think that it also leaves us with a since of how vulnerable we can be and that things don't always work out the way we want them to, but there are reasons for that even if we don't always understand what they are.

Besides the serious part this episode does have it's funny moments as well like when Captain Kirk is trying to explain to the police officer why Spock's ears look the way they do. "He got his head caught in a mechanical rice picker." Lol What an explanation.

The one thing that has always bothered me though is the scene where McCoy comes through the portal and the homeless guy in the alley zaps himself with the phaser. Are we to assume that he had no purpose and that history wasn't altered because of that moment? I always wondered about that.

Oh well, all around it's a great epsiode and one of my all time favorite Star Trek eps.

  6. Star Trek II was the movie that hooked me on Star Trek forever. Out of all of the sad scenes Spock's death scene makes me cry everytime I watch it. Another scene that is sad for me comes from the same movie when Scotty shows up on the bridge with his cadet in his arms and then in sick bay when he says that all the other cadets started running, but he stood his post. If I remember correctly that young cadet is suppose to be Scotty's nephew, but I'm not sure if it's explained that way in the movie or not. I think it's mentioned in the book.

  7. I like Spock's death scene in Star Trek II, not because he dies, but because it's just such a touching scene to watch. It makes me cry though everytime I see it, but it really shows the dynamics of there friendship.

I also like the truck scene in Star Trek IV where the Dr picks Kirk and Spock up in her truck. That whole scene cracks me up everytime I watch it.

"personally I think he did a little too much LDS"

"Are you sure you won't change your mine?"

"Is there something wrong with the one I have?"

  8. I just got back from Las Vegas on Sunday and while I was there I went and did Star Trek The Experience at the Hilton and it was a blast. That was the first time I had tried and it out and they had two attractions, one with the Borg and the other with the Klingons. I like the Klingon one the best. but they were both very cool. I must of spent about an hour in a half in the store after I got done with the attraction. I bought a poster of the original crew and I now have it framed and hanging over my bed. I also got a lapel pin and a key chain. I almost bought a tribble, lol. Anyways it was very cool. Has anyone else done it? (illogical question, I know there are people on here who have). <_<
