Interesting, thanks for the link.

I have seen most of them but I only use 2-3 when I chat, don't feel the need to use any more of them.
But I must say it is quite interesting how the language on the internet has developed. Some of my friends have even start using them in real life, but they have IMO gone too far :)

Is now a bad time to mention that today its in the low 80's and I've been outside in shorts a t-shirt most of this morning? It is? Ok then I won't tell you.I feel sorry for you, wouldn't you like to have -20C and a lot of snow? :)

TOS allTAS none
TNG all
Ds9 all
Voy all
ENt all
dont have the time to download the animated series...but the rest i downloaded and watched at my computer
You've downloaded all of them, from every series?!
-
Hmmm... the first is a "W", let me think...
-
TOS: only about 10 episodes
TNG: All
DS9: 2 episodes (I have bought season 1 and 2 on the internet, but I haven't recieved them yet.)
VOY: Season 1-3
ENT: All
I am planning on buying all the DS9 season DVDs, if I like the first 2 seasons. Also I will buy all of the VOY season sets when they are released.

I think that was a very good question, they really should honor her memory..
-
I can't say I like the design on anyone of them. Type 6 has IMO the best, and sleekest design.

Lefler...I Know The Name But Can't Place Her.She was a guest star on a TNG episode, she and Wesley had a little affair. I think the episode was about some strange game that the entire crew were obsessed about. And I remember that Wil Wheaton was Robin Leflers (don't remember the actress real name) first movie kiss :)

Happy birthday! Hope you have a great time!!

I will win the lottery and they will clone Elvis Presley.
And to be a bit serious, I believe it will be proven that the temp. on earth has risen because we use mother earths resources carelessly.
-
Hmm...Then They Could Bring Back Shelby, Right?Damn right, and Robin Lefler as well :)

I would love to see the next movie/movies based on the New Frontier books. It's about time they tried something new, and since the New Frontier books are the most popular Star Trek books I think they should try to do at least some TV movies based on them.
If what I've heard is correct, a lot more people have read the books then, for example, have watched VOY, so I think they could do quite well.
What are your opinions?

As for the Argo, I must agree that it seems strange they made a vechile with wheels, when the crew for some years ago didn't even know what a wheel was..I find it hard to believe that a millennia-old invention would cease to be in the future. Can you provide the episode title where they didn't know what this was? Also, don't you think they would know what it was from their own history?
I can't remember the episode, but I am pretty sure I've seen, I have just begun re-watching all the season DVDs, so I'll let you know if I find it
One could also argue if a flying or hoovering vechile would be a better choice then one that has wheels since wheels limit where the vechile can operate.

Attached was a great episode, romance between Crusher and Picard, how can it be anything else but great?!
-
I definitely agree that it was a very unnecessary risk!
-
I don't think it matters if we post Trek or non-Trek threads, as we long as we keep posting!
Also I agree with Trekzone, there will probably be more threads when ENT returns.
And perhaps it has something to do with christmas and new year, not everyone is at home sitting by the computer, I know I haven't been here as much as I usually am..
-
Well, I guess it has been pretty good, graduated and got a job, moved in to a new apartment.. It was a good year, not great, but good..
-
Glad to hear you are at peace with yourself, I hope I can join you with that soon

For me, what happens after the reset would not be "Star Trek".I don't like reboots. If you can't do a continuation, I say let it be till someone else can.
Totally agree with you on that one, they can't just reset what has been going on for the last 35 years. It wouldn't be Star Trek anymore..

I rate myself at 9 because I haven't been at any convention, and mostly because I don't plan to visit one either
But I LOVE Star Trek all the same, I just don't find the conventions very interesting, not that there will be any in Sweden anyway..

Well, I don't see why fans want the TNG/DS9/VOY crews mixed up. To me, this would come off campy. I'm all for crossovers and cameos, but a seemless blend would feel forced, I feel.I just think it would work given a big enough threat to the Fed...
(Species 8247 is a good one Stelfan but that leaves the Borg arc open, I'm looking for closure to this time frame in history)
...the Borg threat would imo be good enough reason to assemble everybody in one place and besides, they are all together at the same point in time.
I see your point, however I think it would possible to involve Species 8274 and still find closure for the Borg arc.

I voted for the characters. An easy choice for me, interaction between humans and aliens are what does it for me..

Good theory Cap., not that it would work on me since I enjoyed both Nemesis and Insurrection. I don't think Nemesis is that stand-alone though, since we have the Very wellknown Romulans in it, but I see your point.
Gosh Darn It's Cold Today!

But snow reflects the sun and makes you even more tanned, wouldn't that be awesome? :)
And you could also bath in what we call a "vak" in sweden (make a hole through the ice and jump in, cold as hell). Me and some friends do it every january, it's about +2 in the water under the ice.. Not very pleasant but it has become a tradition (a sick tradition)..
