WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted February 16, 2004 do you think the borg should have captured the Dyson Sphere and assimilated it?
He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted February 16, 2004 What would be the point?
ussacclaim 0 Posted February 16, 2004 I figure they already have a couple like it. Plus I don't know if the Sphere has any technology that will improve them. Maybe if another race took it over.
ddillard 2 Posted February 16, 2004 I honestly do not see that the borg would benefit from the sphere, although it would be a good fortress.
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted February 16, 2004 Unless the sphere is hinged it would need to be disassembled then reassembled around another star, not impossible for the SF Core of engineers I'm sure but still a Hugh undertaking. I believe it would be worth it if habitable space is (as said in the Wrath of Khan) still an issue for the people of the Federation. I'd first ask about the possibilities of restoring life to the star, they've done that before right?
