Zengo 0 Posted July 10, 2004 It Would Be Cool To See Them On ENT.
Lursa 0 Posted May 15, 2005 They are still a seprate government. But alot of races on any trek series will not get the airtime that they deserve.
ddillard 2 Posted May 15, 2005 I agree that the Gorn are probably still under their own rule. They do not appear to be a race that would be interested in being a part of the Federation as they seem to be focused on activites that the Federation would not permit from a member world, such as enslavement and conquest. M_5 0 Posted June 27, 2005 (edited) Quite possibly the coolest Trek race after the Klingons. Its a shame we didn't get to see the Gorn on Enterprise. But,as was said on their one and only TOS appearance, the Cestus V encounter was the first meeting between the Federation and the Gorn. The bulk of my knowledge concerning the Gorn is derived from un-official sources such as the TOS paperback novels and the various TOS-themed Trek videogames. They are still a seperate political entity in the time of DS9 and are still pretty touchy about their territorial claims, but otherwise haven't been nearly the pain-in-the-a$$es the Cardassians,Dominion,or Romulans have been since the 23rd century. Too bad we never saw a Gorn-Borg.That would've rocked. Edited June 27, 2005 by M_5

VaBeachGuy 12 Posted June 27, 2005 M5, we did see the Gorn on Enterprise. Check out season 4's "Through a Mirror Darkly" Part II. 334879[/snapback] Yeah, I was disappointed in the CG character that they created though. They should have stayed with a man in a suit and kept it more "realistic" looking... if that's possible for a lizzard man lol
HRH The KING 0 Posted June 27, 2005 The Gorn should be brought back in a future Star Trek series. However they do need a reboot in a certain sense in terms of their design. They need to be agile, sleek and dragonlike, rather than just looking like little Godzilla's. Probably entirely CGI.
