WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted February 13, 2004 If I accelerate hydrogen atoms into QGP what would happed? Would it be fusion????
Xeroc 0 Posted February 13, 2004 No, likely the hydrogen would become part of the QGP. Fusion is a completey different process where two protons collide and produce a proton-neutron nucleus, neutrino, and a positron (anti-electron). This couldn't happen effectively in QGP (Quark-Gluon Plasma) because the protons and neutrons are actually all mixed up and torn apart (because they are made of each 3 quarks and gluons). WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted February 14, 2004 But really it would produce massive amounts of energy...
Jeanway 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Are you talking about the proton exchange energy cells?
fenriz275 0 Posted March 17, 2004 This the kind of question where I think a minute and then I say, yeah. :)
WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted March 18, 2004 no its crystoic cold fusion...
