I mostly enjoy horror movies.

What I can't stand are "comedy movies" like American Pie or "love movies" like Titanic. :o (I have seen both movies, so I know what I'm talking about.)

Well here are my top three favorite films and their relevant genres:

 

Lawrence of Arabia: War, biopic, adventure/drama, epic, classic.

 

Citizen Kane: Mystery, classic, drama, film noir.

 

Vertigo: Mystery, suspense, psychological thriller, drama, classic

 

I feel that the best films transcend genre and explore different aspects of several so that is steps outside the confines of key codes. However I voted for war, this is because the majority of my collection could largely be considered to fit within that genre.
