Based Upon: This is the sequel to the $250+ million hit film (possibly the #1 film of 2001), Shrek, itself based upon the children's book by William Steig. removed 0 Posted May 21, 2004 I just got back from it... and.... To begin with... I did not love the first one. I liked it, not loved it. And Shrek 2 you ask? IT WAS SO UNBELIEVABLY HILARIOUS!
