In the past, ships based off the sytems of themain ships of the era have been used. The basis for the Swiftsure Project was decided to be the Soveriegn-class. The first Swiftsure Project ship was the Gettysburg-class destroyer. Gettysburg-class Destroyer Length: 205 meters Beam: 45 meters Height: 35 meters Weapons 6 Type IX Phaser Strip 4 Type-3 Burst Fire Torpedo tubes (1 forward, 2 rear, 1 turreted), w/a magezine of 55 torpedos per tube and 60 torpedo to the turret Warp Speed Cruising: Warp 7 Maximum: Warp 9.6 for 24 hours Maximum Safe: Warp 9.99 for 18 hours Gettysburg-class This is an early draft of the Gettysburg, c. 2375.
