ddillard 2 Posted November 30, 2003 In Trek we have seen alot of literature from our current day and the past that has been quoted in Trek. I thought it would be interesting for us to see how many we can list and the literature that they are reference to. Here is my first contribution from TWOK. "To the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee." This line spoken by Khan to Kirk is from Moby (Please stop me from cursing) by Herman Melville, Published in 1851.

Theunicornhunter 2 Posted November 30, 2003 VOY's Year of Hell was based on "20,000 leagues under the sea" and I know there was a TNG episoded based on Henry V. In TOS, the episode where they destroyed the machine (VAL) there was a Biblical reference to driving man out of paradise.
