Vic 17 Posted August 29, 2011 Leonard Nimoy admitted on Twitter today that while he is hanging up his Vulcan ears as far as Star Trek conventions go, don’t be surprised to see him pop up on TV every now and then. “Chicago Oct. 1&2 is my final con appearance,” he said. “I have promised a couple acting appearances which may still crop up. LLAP.” Nimoy will be appearing in his last Star Trek convention in early October at the Official Star Trek Convention to be held September 30-Oct 1 at the Westin O’Hare Hotel in Chicago. Other Star Trek actors in attendance will be: Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, Nichelle Nichols, John de Lancie, Dominic Keating, Connor Trinneer, Nana Visitor, Rene Auberjonois and Arlene Martel. oldfan1 0 Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) I wonder if this will be like his last retirement announcement. This one. After his last one he apparently received some offers for convention appearances and acting jobs that he accepted over the last 16 months. Bethlehem 7 Posted August 29, 2011 It has to be hard for him to retire completely. Star Trek and Acting are the main stays of his life I would think.
