On October 23, at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, Nimoy will “share his portrayal of the rational and emotionally suppressed Vulcan as part of a remarkable and diverse career.” Nimoy will discuss “his role in the history of Star Trek, its origins, and how a new genre for television and movies was created.” An Evening with Leonard Nimoy will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event, which can be purchased here, will cost $65, with a $5 discount for seniors.
