Vic 17 Posted June 16, 2010 Two new Star Trek comics will be released in September; Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge #4, and Star Trek: Captain’s Log: Pike #1. Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge #4, is another story set in the original series time frame featuring Captain James T. Kirk and his crew. In Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge #4, “after answering a call for help from a most unexpected source, Captain Kirk and the Enterprise return to the site of a previous mission, where they make a shocking discovery, one that may force James T. Kirk to make a decision like no other! It all comes together here!” Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge #4 was written by Scott & David Tipton, with art by Federica Manfredi, and the cover by Joe Corroney. The thirty-two page issue, costing $3.99, will be in stores September 8. In Star Trek: Captain’s Log: Pike #1, “after the events of Talos (which were detailed in the classic television two-parter, The Menagerie), Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the Enterprise have been called back to Earth for a debriefing. Upon entering our solar system they are attacked by a suspicious spacecraft–could this episode somehow be linked to Talos…and what eventually awaits Captain Pike? Star Trek: Captain’s Log: Pike #1 was written by Stuart Moore, art and cover by J. K. Woodward.
