Stargate News: Major Davis returns for Atlantis finale

I just commented the other day I wish we'd see Major Davis in Atlantis. Thanks for sharing this exciting news.

It will be good to see the character again, just wish it was not going to be marking the end of Atlantis.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'm getting fed up of all the guest stars they try and cram in from different series, even if it is from the other Stargate. SG-1 became a bit of a joke when it just started becoming a refugee camp for actors from cancelled sci-fi series (Farscape/Andromeda/Firefly) so much so that I couldn't be bothered with the last season. It ends up becoming 'I wonder who's going to turn up this week' rather than making the most of the superb cast they already have. Also I never understood the huge following for Major Davis, he was alright as a bit part but he didn't really display any kind of personality. Let's face it, he was no Maybourne.

 

I'm a huge fan of Atlantis and I think it's a real shame that this is the last season but I still hope that it goes out with a bang rather than a guest-star-studded variety show.
