Mike 5 Posted September 17, 2003 Actually TUH I too have had a cold for the past couple of days..No fun at all...And to top it off I've had to work long hours..We're very busy right now..That doesn't help my cold..But in time it'll get better..I too prescribe high doses of Star Trek! Gotabite 0 Posted September 17, 2003 No cold or flu for me so far.......will be getting my flu shot as sooon as the Medical center where I work starts giving them out. mj 7 Posted September 17, 2003 I haven't had the flu yet, but I did have a scratchy throat shortly before the Labor Day weekend. I had to fight like the dickens to keep it from blowing up in to a full blown sore throat. The doctor refused to give me medicine....told me hot tea with lemon and honey, as if I didn't know that! I partially lost my voice and was full of self-pity. But I didn't get the fever, body aches, etc. Like Gotabite, I am waiting for flu shots to be available. I took one for the first time last year, and did not get the flu for the first time since moving here. I am so sorry you are feeling bad, TUH. Hope you feel better soon. I'm not the only one immune to germs! :blink: I, too, rarely get sick. Maybe a cold once every 3 years. Must be all that good, clean living we do. That, and plenty of vitamins and herbs!
