Essoq 0 Posted September 16, 2003 :o If you really think about it. You never see klingon ears. Their hair is always covering. When Worf has his ponytail or short hair, it looks like there's hair growing where his ears should be. Does anybody remember EVER seeing Klingon ears (except on klingon/somethingorother hybrids)? Mike 5 Posted September 16, 2003 (edited) Interesting point..Do TOS Klingons count?..I'm sure their hair didn't cover their ears..But you are right about TNG era Klingons..I can't recall seeing their ears... :o Edited September 16, 2003 by spacetigger
Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted September 17, 2003 In TOS, Klingons have Human-looking ears, but they don't count since the makeup got the upgrade to what it was suppose to be in ST:TMP. In ST-6:TUC, we saw General Change with Human ears, so I would guess that yes, Klingons have Human-like ears.
3 of 7 0 Posted September 17, 2003 Yepp, the Klingons have ears. That is easy to see if you see an assimilated Klingon.
captainfreeman 0 Posted September 18, 2003 Well,Ba'el had ears on the TNG episode "Birthrights parts I and II",but she was only half-Klingon (her father was Romulan).I never really noticed that we rarely see Klingon ears in post-TOS series' and films.Interesting.Stil,I would say that they definitely do have ears. Sirius 0 Posted November 7, 2003 You know,I tried to check once and had a bad experience. I tried to brush a Klingon woman's hair back and look, but she thought I was initiating a mating ritual and then things got ugly....

Wishfire 2 Posted October 8, 2004 I think Klingons have a completely different hair-line around the ear area. Whereas humans would only have about a half-inch of side-burns, Klingons probably have like 2 inches. So they have enough hair to completely cover their ears. Could that be an evelutionary thing? Humans have ear-hair to keep dust and other stuff out. Maybe Klingons don't have ear-hair, but they have enough hair to do the same thing?
J'Korta 0 Posted October 16, 2020 Of course they do. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Chang had ears.
