Captain's log stardate 13707.7, The ship encountered an anomaly, which caused a reactor coolent leak and killed 23 people :o , luckily we managed to eject the core and are now at starbase 256 for repairs and installation of a new core, plus the crew has time for shore leave on a neighboring planet.

Captains log stardate 13710.6, the ship departed from starbase 256 this morning to sector 574 to investigate a reported Borg attack, we found no evidence of a Borg attack but a kamakazie pilot in a shuttle hit our sheilds and created a warp core breach that nearly destroyed the ship. We are now in the process of investigating the attack.

We've been unsuccesful in our investigations, but we will continue to look until we find whos responsible. In the mean time I have taken a vacation to Risa. I am expecting we will be assigned to a new ship, since the Warp Core breach caused extensive damage to the ship.
