In my quest to find "The Xindi" yesterday I came across "Earth 2" and downloaded the pilot episode. I had watched it when it was originally aired and liked it then. Anyone else remember and like it?

I used to watch it, but NBC cancelled it after 2 seasons.

I thought it was a great show at the time. I was rather young then though. I'm not sure if I'd like it if I watched it today, but I probably would. It was a very interesting concept.

I have only seen the pilot and then some of the first episodes, but somehow lost my interest in it then.

So I just know what it is all about, but that's all

I thought the show was great and just starting to get developed when they canceled it.

I don't remember when it ended, I do remember really liking it though. I also remember (but don't remember why) that I lost interest after about the first year.

No I don't remember ever seeing her in it.

 

The one star I knew was the Butler from the Clue movie. His name escapes me right now. Timothy something.

Was Mariette Hartley in the pilot? Did it have this cylindrical superfast subway system? Was there a guy who had been in suspended animation and woke up in the future in a place called Pax?

 

Was John Saxon and Diana Mildaur in one of the episodes?

 

If yes to all of the above, I did watch Earth 2 until it went off the air, I think.

Earh 2 was about in the future the earth has become lifeless so humans live on spacestations around the planet. The problem is that the children are getting sick do to the recycled air so a group of people go in a spaceship in criosleep to a planet and then of cource troble insues. Hope that helps.

Was there a little boy named Eulie or Yulie, and some strange group of aliens that lived underground? And was there also a young girl in this? I might have watched that too. Or, this could be something else....

Then, yes I do remember watching and liking it, but I don't undestand why a lot of good science fiction gets cancelled.

I loved that show when it aired. I never missed an episode. I used to watch it every Sunday night. As soon as I get my DSL up and running I had planned to start downloading more of the episides. So many shows, so little hard drive space, guess I had better get a bigger one.

I have 2 20gb, 1 30gb and 1 60gb hard drive and all 4 are almost completely full lol

this was an excellent show, i was upset when they cancelled yet another sci-fi show. seems as though no sci-fi lasts. another one i liked was space:above and beyond.

I have 2 20gb, 1 30gb and 1 60gb hard drive and all 4 are almost completely full lol

I have two 40gb but I am planning to upgrade to two 250gb drives in the next month or so.

why not just put in a dvd-rw, and save mass data on a disc? isnt it quicker that way than to have such big hard drive, and anyway if you use that much space, your gonna keep adding more and more right? by quicker i mean doesnt big hard drives slow down the computer because theres soo much space to look over for things?

I don't have any issues with it slowing down, and I would rather keep them on my hard drive because I have a tendancy to lose discs around the house.
