Lady Britannia 0 Posted June 21, 2008 Star Trek fans have got to get used to this idea that stories end. DS9's story was completed. It was a great show, but it finished on a high. Therefore there is no need to run it into the ground unnecessarily. For those who want more, there are novels to read. Insurrection was the time for a DS9 movie, but that opportunity was missed, and now it's too late. DS9 is done, and rightly so.
DaboGirl 7 Posted June 24, 2008 I voted Yay! However it will never get made in a million years :-(
He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted June 24, 2008 OK, you know what? Of course Trek fans are going to go see anything based on Star Trek. It doesn't make sense to ask "Who wants to see a DS9 movie?" What does make sense is what would you be willing to give up in the franchise to see a DS9 movie. Would you see a DS9 movie if it meant you couldn't see another TOS or TNG or even a VOY or ENT movie? Would you trade a DS9 movie for First Contact or Star Trek XI or The Wrath of Kahn?

Q stole my bike 0 Posted July 21, 2008 As much as I would loooove to see a DS9 movie, it ain't gonna happen. As others have pointed out, the story is over, and it wasn't exactly an open ending. Still, if they make a movie with Garak in it, I would be first in line. The world needs more Garak.
BakulaBabe 2 Posted July 21, 2008 A DS9 movie is a great idea, and I hope they do one! Although it was more-or-less "finished", something could always happen...
