JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A Jonesboro man may have needed to listen to his conscience - and not his imaginary friend - when thinking about robbing a home.

Robert McKenzie, 22, faces felony residential burglary and theft charges after stealing $10.50 in dimes from a Jonesboro home. Police say McKenzie told investigators his imaginary friend "Curt" told him to go inside the home. At a court hearing Friday, McKenzie asked a reporter why he didn't take a picture of "Curt."

Police say Nettleton School District employees caught McKenzie robbing a co-worker's home Wednesday. Officers say McKenzie stabbed a man with a screwdriver before being arrested.

McKenzie was being held Saturday on $5,000 bond at the Craighead County jail. He refused to fill out paperwork for a public defender to represent him.

No doubt he wants to go to a mental hospital rather than jail.

$10.50? Seriously, $10.50 - you'd break into a home for a bunch of dimes.

Apparently they don't make that much where they work....... :vbg:
