I saw a documentary on the extinction of the dinosaurs a couple years ago. The T-Rex being related to the chicken was one of the theories presented. I guess it wasn't so far fetched.

You know I actually I read a scifi story many, many years ago with a similar plot. They brought a couple of preshistoric creatures back only to discover their greatest value was they tasted good fried.

Yes. You pull into the KFC drive-up and order the OLFTS (One Leg Fried T-rex Special), which gets hoisted into the back of your pickup! :P
