I think that the political quotes should be in their own category, though they do belong in some TV list category.

I also remember way too many of these!

I agree the political comments could have their own category - and from the list - it's hard to see how a phrase at one Olympics could join the public mantra.

Others that come to mind are:

Same bat time, same bat channel

Well, Golly (golly drawn out) (Gomer Pyle)

Oh Boy (Quantum Leap)

Do not attempt to adjust your set...

Personally, I don't think ads should qualify. Ad slogans and taglines are a class by themselves.

As for omissions,

"Eat my shorts" (Bart Simpson, "Simpsons")

"See you next week on HEEEE-HAAWWWWW" ("Hee-Haw")

"Have your pet spayed or neutered" (Bob Parker, "The Price Is Right")

"Whoa!" (Joey, "Blossom")

"Hellooooooooo Nurse!" (Yakko and Wakko Warner, "Animaniacs")

"Are you pondering what I'm pondering?" (Brain, "Pinky And The Brain")

"WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH" (Lucy Ricardo, "I Love Lucy")

Not to mention all the Looney Tunes catchphrases: Thufferin' Thuccotash, I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat, Greetings Earthling, Ooh that makes me angry, What's up Doc?, That's All Folks!, You're dethpicable, Be vewy vewy quiet I'm huntin' wabbits, Of course you realize this means war!, etc.

I'm surprised "Make it so!" didn't make it on somewhere but two other Trek quotes did.

True, but it's three Trek qoutes there, and they are:

#93 -- "Resistance is futile" (Picard as Borg, "Star Trek: The Next Generation")

,
#22 -- "Live long and prosper" (Spock, "Star Trek")
and
#14 -- "Space, the final frontier ..." (Capt. Kirk, "Star Trek")

.

The first one mentioned is my favorite.

Is it number 100 or number 1 that is the most popular one, since the list was in order of popularity?
