A l t e r E g o 9 Posted August 10, 2003 ... the Nexus was an ancient version of a soliton wave experiment that was never terminated and over time, it evolved into the Nexus? I know there are some issues, for example it was claimed the wave would dissipate eventually but what if it encountered something that gave it perpetual energy? Yea or nay? Sam The Smuggler 1 Posted August 10, 2003 Well, I know it's Not Official, But in a TNG Book, we see part of Q's Past where he Grabs a Plasma String or something and Flicks It Out Into Space and Pircard Recognizes it as the Nexus, lol <_< But you may be right. A l t e r E g o 9 Posted August 10, 2003 Thats why I liked that it turned out to be him, I suspected it leading up the the revelation so when it was finally reveled, I cheered! Imo Greg Cox is a rising star in the Trek novel universe, ( The Eugenics Wars!) I anticipate more good things from him.
Sam The Smuggler 1 Posted August 10, 2003 So do I . and I still need to read those. Anyway, back on Topic. Too Bad Those Wonderfull books aren't Offical. They Explain quite a few things, lol But I guess The Nexus will remain a Mystery as far as Star Trek Canon Goes. But I suppose it could be an Ancient Soliton Wave that ahs some how....changed
