Silent Hill, The Movie

Granted, this flick came out a couple of months ago, but we just saw it last weekend.

 

Being huge fans of the video game Silent Hill (and I mean the first one), we were anxious to see how in the world they were going to stretch it into a feature-length film.

 

I must say that I was really pleased with how it was handled. They completely rewrote and reworked the plot of the game, but somehow it didn't upset me. I thought the cinematography so accurately captured the feel of the game that the changes in the story didn't matter.

 

And I thought that the ending of the movie was definitely an improvement over the ending of the game. It was a lot less convoluted and much easier to understand. It just made more sense.
