If you've seen the TNG episode "Tapestry", then you will know that Picard is wounded to the point of death. While in the afterlife, he meets Q and Q allows Picard to go into his past and change the events that lead up to Picard getting a fake heart which ended up killing him at the end of his life.

But, at the end, Picard says that it may have all been just his imagination and that he dreamed it all up. Which leads to the debate, was it really Q or was Picard just dreaming the entire thing while he was unconscious? We never see Q come to Picard after he wakes up, so it is a good chance that Picard made the entire thing up while he was asleep.

Personally, I believe that Q was there and actually did help Picard realize that the choices he made in life were the correct ones. So I vote, yes that was Q.

I definitely think it was Q. I mean, something like this is typical for him. He wouldn't miss an opportunity to get on Picard's nerves for the world.

I don't think Jean-Luc was dreaming, I doubt he could have come up with such a realistic dream... *scratches head*

I also voted that it was Q, because it's just the kind of thing he'd do.
