My Daughter Graduated Grade Six

Today was the Grade Six Farewell ceremony at my daughter's school. My little girl is growing up so quickly. She'll be attending junior high in the fall at a new school. The ceremony was very nice.

 

As part of the ceremony, my daughter was given the International Yes I Can! Award that we weren't able to go to Salt Lake City to pick up earlier in the year. Also she received a letter from Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and a letter from US President George W. Bush (along with a picture of W and Laura Bush) congratulating her.

Congrats to your daughter! when i graduated sixth grade i recieved the most improved in english class award. also my friend next to me tipped her chair over after fainting during the ceremony she was okay.

Her favourite subjects are music, art and math.

 

We're so lucky. The school she is attending now and the school she'll be going to for both junior and senior high have great Autism programs.
