Star Trek: The Experience Closing In 6 Weeks?

The Star Trek Experience may be closing as early as next month. When I was coming back from San Jose, on the Dallas to Washington leg of my flight, I was talking to the gentleman sitting next to me. He was coming home from Las Vegas. He'd been to the Experience, and talked to some of the staff. They told him that they had been given six weeks notice to find new jobs. He couldn't elaborate more than that. I don't know what this means for the big Creation con in August. I'm sending Adam and Gary this information, so they can deal with the Hilton. I know that Creation had 8,000 people at last year's con, not counting dealers, staff, and guests. I don't know if that's considered a big convention by Vegas standards."

 

 

If true this is very bad news from Trek fans and the franchise.

 

Sad news if it is true, and a lot of people think it is. I haven't been yet and it doesn't look like I ever will
