Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted July 23, 2003 I think STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME is the one that bought the farm!
prometheus 0 Posted July 23, 2003 Did we even See all of them?? Name all the ones you know of I think that they only ACTUALLY travelled back in time 6 times throughout the series and movies. Tomorrow is Yesterday - 20th Century Earth The City on the Edge of Forever - Again 20th Century Earth Assignment Earth - 20th Century Earth All our Yesterdays - the past of the planet Sarpeidon The Voyage Home - 20th Century Earth Generations - Kirk goes into the 24th Century There are multiple episodes, though, where the crew find themselves on planets which LOOK LIKE Earth's past. The Squire of Gothos - Napoleonic era The Return of the Archons - Wild West era Who Mourns for Adonais - Ancient Greece Catspaw - Medievel era A Piece of the Action - 1920s gangster era Patterns of Force - Nazi Germany Bread and Circuses - Roman Empire era The Paradise Syndrome - Native American America Spectre of the Gun - again Wild West era Plato's Stepchildren - again, Ancient Greece era I think episodes like this created the illusion that the crew were always going back in time, but they werent really. If we think about it, the TNG crew have done a fair bit in their time, but i'll leave that up to someone else to try to document Laters, k
prometheus 0 Posted July 23, 2003 Ive just thought, maybe there were several 'temporal violations' commited within each time jump. Eg, they went back in time just the once but did several prohibited things In the Voyage Home, for example, there could be: selling Kirk's glasses taking the wales back taking that scientist woman back giving away the formula to transparent aluminium There are four at least, from one time leap. Rob 0 Posted July 23, 2003 giving away the formula to transparent aluminium I thought that was Scotty that did that
prometheus 0 Posted July 23, 2003 giving away the formula to transparent aluminium I thought that was Scotty that did that It was still Kirk's mission though.
Lessa_Soong 0 Posted July 23, 2003 There was also the pill that mcCoy gave that woman in the hospital taht caused her to grow a new kidney.
Riaan 0 Posted July 23, 2003 giving away the formula to transparent aluminium I thought that was Scotty that did that It was still Kirk's mission though. But it was Scotty, and Bones was in on it too.
prometheus 0 Posted July 24, 2003 Yes but when the temporal detectives said that KIRK was responsible for the violations, maybe they meant as a commander. He led the missions so the actions of his officers were under his responsibility....
KayTroi 0 Posted July 26, 2003 Hi,I agree with prometheus. I remember at least the four he mentioned. B)

Ezri Dax 0 Posted July 31, 2003 I remember at the end, Kirk took all the responsability of the action of his crew... That may be why they were all attribuate to him
Sam The Smuggler 1 Posted August 1, 2003 Yeah, I tend to agree that the events in the "Whale Incident" were on Kirks Temporal Violations List.
