Tenacious D

A band that I have loved for years has been Jack Black's rock outfit also known to the world as Tenacious D. I think those who hadn't heard of the D's music before the album was released didn't know what to expect from the comedian known as Jack Black. Let me tell ya, we were blown away by quite possibly one of the greatest, if not the greatest, albums released this decade, maybe ever. Their debut album made Spin Magazine's list of Top 40 metal albums of all time.

 

The D has a movie coming out at the end of this year called "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny". I am really looking forward to it along with the new album to be released this year as well. To honor this great band, I decided to post the video of "Wonderboy" in hopes to also let those who haven't heard the music to do so. A truly great song, and personally, a great video. Afterwards is the video for Tribute. Enjoy

I have thier album. They are "ok" Although i am not a fan of Jack Blacks

I really don't find Jack Black funny at all. "Tribute" sort of grew on me, but I still don't like it all that much. And "F Her Gently" is only funny when you hear the sound effects used on the edited version.
