Millenhiem, as he goes by in Starfleet service, is one of the oldest officers in Starfleet. throughout the course of his long career, starting with the Valderan Royal Navy, and now with the United Federation of Planets Starfleet, Millenhiem has done almost everything. Millenhiem's professional Military Education began at age 14, when he attended the Valderan Basic Military Academy, just outside Valderis City. Upon graduation at the age of 18, Millenhiem recieved an appointment to the Valderan Royal Naval Academy. Graduating 3rd in his class, Millenhiem then attended Flight School at Chirto'Val. Entering the fleet as a Sub-Lieutenant, Millenhiem demonstrated great skill as a Fighter Pilot. In his first combat tour against the Tyderians, Millenhiem fought in 4 major engagements and set a one-month combat record for 23 kills. During his second tour, however, his luck ran dry. Forced to eject from his fighter, Debris from the fighter amputated his right arm, two inches below the shoulder. He returned to flying a month later, and after completing another tour, again met with disaster. a control panel in the cockpit of his Viper-Class fighter exploded, sending small bits of hot shrapnel into his eyes. Forced again to eject, a micrometeoroid struck his left arm, forcing it to be amputated. Outfitted now with two prosthetic arms and Optical implants, Millenhiem decided to give up flying, and transfered to Fleet Command.

 

At first, Millenhiem felt out of place serving aboard the cruisers of the VRN, but soon adapted to the job. By the age of 35, he had earned the rank of Captain, and had once more shown great skill, this time in the job of commanding a combat starship. HVMS Imperator, Millenhiem's first command, would soon earn a reputation for hard and vicious fighting, even under the worst circumstances. For 30 years, Millenhiem refused promotion after promotion, opting instead to command starships. finally, at the age of 65, he was forced to accept a promotion to the rank of Commodore. given command of Cruiser Squadron 3, Millenhiem once more made a name for himself, conducting lightning raids against Tyderian outposts, and once catching a Tyderian Carrier Strike Group napping.

 

over the next hundred years, Millenhiem went through a variety of commands, and worked his way up to the rank of Vice Admiral. now, 165 years old, Millenhiem decided to try something else with his life. He entered the world of Politics.

 

Millenhiem served with much notoriety in the Valderan House of Representatives, and at the end of his first term, was appointed by the Governor of Valderis to fill his homeworld's vacancy in the House of Lords. Having been a Legislator for only 10 years, Millenhiem was the least experienced member of the house of Lords, but at 175, he was older than half of the legislators there. Another 10 years passed. Millenhiem was again "Promoted", this time after the Senior Senator from Valderis was killed in a dual with the Junior senator from Rulak. Now in the Senate, Millenhiem was assigned to the Senate Armed Forces committee. he sponsored many bills that led to a modernisation and overhauling of the Valderan Military. at the age of 200, Millenhiem was appointed chairman of the Committee, and even presided over the appointments of his brothers to higher-ranks, casting the tie-breaking votes that allowed his brother Gary to be promoted to Rear Admiral, and his brother Thomas to be promoted to Major General.

 

After 5 years as chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee, Millenhiem was begining to tire of the life of a legislator. Soon, his chance to move on came. As happens frequently, the Tyderians declared war on the Valderans. With no openings for a Flag Officer in the Navy, Millenhiem looked for a way to get into the action. The Marines came calling.

 

Appointed by the Commandant of the Marines as a Lieutenant General (the equivelent to his Navy rank), Millenhiem was put in command of IV Corps, 3rd Marine Command. Leading his Marines into battle on no less than 4 occasions, Millenhiem proved he could be as versitile now as a man half his age. following the end of that war, Millenhiem resigned his Marine Commission, and returned to the Valderan Royal Navy Reserves. as a retired senator, he recieved a very large pension, and therefor decided it would be time to raise a family. Millenhiem and his wife of some hundred years, Julie, had the first of their children late in 2322. their second followed in 2330. in 2360, Millenhiem was offered something new: A chance to serve with the UFP's Starfleet.

 

Millenhiem, along with about a hundred other Officers, including his brother Gary, joined Starfleet. After abreviated training, Millenhiem took a post as Executive Officer of the Ambassador Class starship Endeavor. By 2370, Millenhiem was promoted to Captain, and was overseeing the construction of a ship he had designed, USS Shiloh. When the Dominion War broke out, Valderis at first remained Neutral, allowing Valderan officers serving with Starfleet to continue to serve there. Millenhiem and the Shiloh, and soon her sister ships Saratoga and Chancellorsville, found themselves in the middle of the war. Assigned to the 9th Fleet, Millenhiem was given the rank of Fleet Captain, and commanded all three Shiloh class starships. known collectively as Attack Group 4, Millenhiem's command participated in the several key battles, including Operation Return. however, in 2374, a year before the end of the war, Valderis entered the war. Millenhiem followed his nation's call, and returned home to fight under his native flag. Millenhiem commanded the small Valderan strike group that participated in Operation Final Assault. victorious, Millenhiem returned to Valderan space for a few years, then went back to Starfleet, again to Command the Shiloh.

 

in 2384, USS Shiloh was retired from service, and placed in mothballs. Wanting to remain in the Federation, Millenhiem took a demotion to the rank of Commander, and was assigned to USS Eros, as Chief of Security, a post that had been filled by his brother Gary, who had returned to Valderis to serve a tour as Warmaster.

 

it wasn't long before Eros found herself in combat. Deciding that an Admiral's flagship needed to be protected, Shiloh, Saratoga, and Chancellorsville were all called back to active service. by 2385, Millenhiem was serving as Executive Officer for the Eros Task Force. Following a war with the Tyderians that involved the Federation, Millenhiem was promoted to Admiral...two days after fellow Commodore Sean Banach. Because Millenhiem was the junior 4-star, he took the post of Strategic Operations Officer. At the outbreak of hostilities with Species 8472, Millenhiem was forced to watch from afar as his beloved ship, USS Shiloh, was destroyed. A new Shiloh was commissioned, Shiloh A. Following the second Dominion War, that ship, too, was destroyed, this time by dormant mines. Millenhiem then took command of the prototype battleship USS Georgia.

 

In early 2386, a Civil War broke out in the Federation. Millenhiem has now been appointed Fleet Admiral, and will assume command of the 1st Fleet.

Life Story: Mignonette was born on Earth, to the Lord and Lady Pryha who rule over a small colony located in the Mediterranean which is unknown to most.. The colony is called, Peran, and it is a haven for those of all races, including Klingon, and Romulan.. Mignonette grew up like most human children in the 24th century, but since Peran had such a diverse population. She grew to tolerate all races despite their hostilities to who are human.. Though Mignonette is not human, she uses her Betazoid abilities very rarely..

 

Mignonette has a certain amount of control over her Betaziod abilities (Like Deanna Troi), but when she is not using them.. Her empath abilities cause her to experience the emotions of everyone around her. Therefore, she does not like loud crowded places and does not attend parties.. Non one has seemed to be able to pin point the cause of Mignonette empath abnormality, but because of this Mignonette have never left the colony.

 

Personality: Mignonette is a quiet person, her empath ability keeps her from being able to seek out new friends, but the ones she does have, she keeps close. Overall she is sweet, kind, but she has a strong will that enables her to do anything that she sets her mind to.

 

Appearance: Mignonette has waist length, dark brown straight hair with sapphire blue eyes and very ale skin. She is quite skinny, and her clothes are usually blue and white robes of ancient Greek style that are floor length..

Here's some more about James Millenhiem...

 

Personality: Millenhiem is the kind of officer that his subordinates love and superiors hate. He cares deeply about the welfare of the men and women under his command, and a common gripe during the Federation Civil War has been that those assigned to the 1st Fleet are living much more comfortably than those in the 2nd or 4rd Fleets. Millenhiem is capable of acting in a supporting role for most of the traditional Starfleet roles (Exploration, Diplomacy, Science, Etc.) but when it comes time for the throw-down in battle, Millenhiem is usually ready to take charge of the situation. A student of Military History, and a fan of ancient Terran Science-Fiction books, Millenhiem is noted to have on several occasions adapted tactics he read about in various texts to Starfleet operations, most notably a tactic known as the "Millenhiem Spitball", based on a tactic from a science fiction book where a number of smaller craft use mass-fire tactics against a single, localised, critical location against a larger enemy vessel. Millenhiem actually used this menuever successfully first in 2355, 16 years before Jean Luc Picard used a similar menuever against the Borg Cube assaulting Earth.

 

His tactical and strategic abilities are matched only by the loyalty of the Officers, Non Commissioned Officers, and Enlisted personnel serving under his command. This Loyalty has often been a bone of contention among some senior officers, who have at times thought that this loyalty could lead to a Mutiny.

 

Family: Millenhiem is married to the former Ms. Randeh Kurjalli, of the Wessar province on Valderis. They have five children together: Klior (65 Human YOA), Vaunte (53 Human YOA), anbd triplets Christopher, Micheal, and Robert (2 Human years). Both of Millenhiem's sons presently serve in Starfleet, known as William and John respectively. Captain William Millenhiem commands the Starship Liberator, while John is a Colonel assigned to the Starfleet Internal Affairs Bureau. Millenhiem has two brothers, known in Starfleet service as Gary and Thomas Phaserman. Both are married, Gary to Kristen Phaserman, and Thomas to Naji Phaserman. Also, he has a Sister, Maddie Folers, married to Royal Army General Rhob Folers. Gary and Kristen have two surviving sons, Daniel and James, and a daughter, Katherine. Daniel's twin brother Robert was killed during the Last Tyderian War. Maddie and Rhob have a son, Colonel Vaunte Folers, serving as the Emperor's Chief of Staff. Rumors have circulated that Admiral Millenhiem is in fact the son of Valderan Emperor Jolar XVII, but all files relating to precise family heritage have been classified TS/POLY NOFOR, requiring level 27 Security Clearance, the second highest access level in the fleet.

My new avatar is actually a picture of my sim charactor, Ambassador Millenhiem.

 

 

 

This is the full size picture. This is the Female Ambassador's uniform for the Valderan Royal Empire (I didn't change the facial features to represent her being a Valderan, though, so she still looks human). On the vest, she has her rank insignia, identifying her as the Senior Member of the Valderan Embassy. assigned to the Federation. She also has the crest of the Valderan Royal Family on both the vest and her left sleeve, since she is the wife of a Prince (Dispite what Jim posted, his charactor IS the son of the Emperor, and next in line for the thrown). All other members of the delegation wear the insignia of the Imperial Diplomatic Corps (I'll get a picture of that up as soon as I can create it, lol)

Randeh Fignarigto, also known as Julie Millenhiem, is a political appointee to the Diplomatic Corps. Her close ties to senior Starfleet officials, including Starfleet Chief of Staff GrAdm A. Quinn-Banach, and President Spock, as well as Starfleet's Strategic Operations Chief, FADM Millenhiem, made her a good choice to replace the former ambassador, who retired after serving for many years. Her Valderan name is pronounced Ron-Day.

 

Born and raised in the village of Illoak, a suburb of Wessar City, located in the Wessar province, an area in the south of the Qrilla continent on Valderis, Randeh is a Doctor by trade. After completing her basic education at 14, she, like many people not joining the Military, went to community college. Randeh graduated from Wessar City College at the age of 18, 2nd in her class. Following that, she attended Wessar University's School of Medicine, also in Wessar City. Graduating at the age of 26, Randeh took a job at Illoak General Hospital, as a Surgeon.

 

At the age of 70, Randeh was offered a job at Valderis City's Fignarigto Memorial Hospital, as Chief Surgeon. It was there that she met her future husband, Krajur (Jim) Fignarigto. The two were married in 2220. For many years, her husband's service kept the two apart for most of the year, until her husband became a member of Congress, 75 years after the two married.

 

When her husband accepted the chance to serve with Starfleet, Randeh stayed behind, until 2384, when USS Shiloh was recommissioned. Tired of the fact that she never saw her husband, she accepted a posting aboard Shiloh as Chief Medical Officer. By this time, her two oldest sons were well into their 60's, and serving with distinction in the Valderan Military. Randeh gave birth to triplets aboard Starbase 712, the home-port of USS Shiloh in late 2384.

 

As the Second Dominion War began, Randeh worried for the safety of her young children. She resigned her commission and returned with her sons to Valderis. Soon, she was appointed by the Emperor to be the Valderan Ambassador to the Federation. This appointment seems to suit her just fine, as it allows her to continue to serve her people, and allows her to take care of her young children at the same time.
