Here's one for you. GOALTENDING American Football- The act of blocking a Field Goal Attempt At the goal posts, if the kick would have been otherwise successful. infraction is either a 15 yard penalty or points awarded as if try was successful. A field goal or Point After Touchdown kick may only be blocked at or behind the Line of Scrimmage.
Jack_Bauer 1 Posted November 17, 2005 Off hand in hockey, no player except the goalie can play with a broken stick. And on a penalty shot, the goalie cannot leave the crease until the shooter has crossed the blueline. Roger Nielsen actually exploited this by putting a defensemen in the crease (which is technically allowed) and having that defensemen get the puck away from the shooter. He could come right at him once he crossed the blueline.
