SG1 and SGA just took their midseason break. TV was already looking pretty barren but now it's become a wasteland - my wrist hurts from all the surfing. I'm wondering why I even bother to have cable. :)

 

And now I read Scifi has greenlighted some new drama which means they're likely to ax one of their current Friday night shows......if they ax the SG's and keep BSG - I will get rid of cable :)

I know how ya feel. I'm not looking forward to having to wait for the end to those cliffhangers, moreso BSG than the SG's.

 

As to the new show, I really doubt one of the current shows will be axed. If one gets moved, that could be alright, but these three shows are the primary line-up and cash cows for the network. If they put anything else on Fri nights, it'll probably just take Firefly's run at 7 when it's finished.
