Mutant/alien/unworldly thing eats people

Am I wrong or does that pretty much cover the basic plot for scifi movies these days?- Okay maybe the mutant things - be they mosquitoes, fish etc - eat people and the aliens eat people but the unwordly things may not exactly eat people but you get the gist.

 

I'm craving a little creativity here.

Yes! This is a trend that needs to stop. Frankenfish is airing (I think on SciFi channel) this weekend. Really big, really angry fish!
