Anyone else fans of the classic 1970's series? Who was your favorite character, mine's always been Shaggy.

I Liked all the characters in the Classic Scooby Doo but Scrappy was also funny as well and I also saw most of the spinoff series also.

Do you know what I find funny? The first person they meet is always the "monster/ghost" and they always run past the same door/tree/object for about 3 minutes!

You are exactly right ... Scrappy came later.

 

I found him somewhat annoying, but not as annoying as Scooby Dumb.

 

I didn't like it when they started having guest stars either ... Sonny & Cher? The Harlem Globe Trotters? Don Knotts? And why were they always showing up as themselves?

 

Shaggy was always my favorite.

 

Question: Were Fred and Daphne boyfriend and girlfriend? Sometimes it seemed that they were (which is probably why they were always trying to get rid of Shaggy/Scooby/Velma), then sometimes it seemed that they weren't (when Fred would be ogling some girl, or Shaggy would be teasing Daphne about boyfriends.

 

Clarification please, from one of you experts.

very true, I just decided to throw in a poll about your favorite Doo character, the poll and topic don't really have much in common.

 

I'd say that they weren't dating, but that's just opinion about Fred and Daph
