A l t e r E g o 9 Posted July 1, 2005 As a fan of TOS has seeing [some of] what predated TOS in the form of ENT enhanced your enjoyment of viewing TOS episodes again? It has for me, I notice now that when watching episodes of TOS a better sense of history comes across not present in TOS before ENT. Ever since I started watching ENT, I went back and watched TOS and ENT actually added to my enjoyment of TOS, knowing where everything you see on TOS came from. I'm not much of a fan of ENT, but I find myself at least liking the episodes in which one can see references to what happens on TOS. I'm really eager to see the mirror universe episode, for example, I think I'll like it (I'll probably never see it unless our cable company decides to show the 4th ENT season)... A l t e r E g o 9 Posted July 5, 2005 previous incomplete post deleted, I accidentally posted it with keyboard stroke error. I understand, Mrs. Picard; ENT did that for me too. While ENT was on I really didn't watch that much TOS; mainly because I was waiting for the DVD box sets, (and I wanted to keep my mind focused on the ENT era) while I waited and watched ENT it did make connections to TOS in subtle and obvious ways as a prequel should & I enjoyed seeing those very much. But then ENT ended and I got into the TOS box sets and the enhancement flipped positions; now having seen ENT is revitalizing TOS for me in unexpected and very welcome ways. For all its "problems" one thing is now for sure more than ever for me; ENT did succeed where it mattered most in many areas. Look forward to hearing from you Sam.
